Catching Up...

You know I've got four or five draft posts on here that I'm just waiting to have the time to finish and publish when I don't have other things I want to talk about too.

Today, well firstly... I'm just thankful to God for helping me with all sorts of stuff lately... especially my uni work. There's been a lot on, and I guess there still is... but I'm really pleased because I got my mark for my fourth and final assessed teaching practice of the year, and it was the highest mark I've had so far. And when, because of my own laziness I always end up preparing these lessons at gone midnight he night before I'm teaching them... I do usually end up praying for help, and I got it. So, that's been encouraging for me.

Something else that's encouraged me is that I've been asked to be on a panel at the grill-a-christian evangelistic event we're doing in our CU tonight. In no way do I feel qualified to do it really so I'd appreciate your prayers, and hope that even if I don't know all the answers, that I'll be gracious and humble and still glorify God in my attitude towards the whole thing. Something else I've been a bit challenged about lately...

If you could pray for the whole event tonight in general, we're having a barbeque with live acoustic music and a testimony and grill-a-christian. It should be a really good night, but we're just hoping that people will bring their friends and that the Gospel will be faithfully proclaimed and that people will be challenged by it!

We've finished Joel in our one to ones now... I will finish my posts on those last two sessions because I know it will be really useful for me in the future, as well as hopefully encouraging anyone who might read this. I'm about to go out though when I've finished this, to another session...to start looking at Ephesians which I'm really looking forward to... so I'll keep you posted.

I can't wait, but that will be something else to write about when I get back!!
