Jobs

I have ONE exam left before my degree is OVER. And then I have until the 4th July to find a job and somewhere new to live. The job hunt has officially begun and I feel so old and unqualified for everything. So here is a selection of the job titles I have been applying for, seeing as I don't really want a job that's anything to do with my degree. I'm looking for something ideally within the property industry, but no luck so far.

  • Trainee Manager
  • Secretary/Receptionist
  • Exams Administrator
  • Learning Resource Assistant
  • Sales Office Order Processor
  • Typist Administrator Human Resource Department
  • Property Management Assistant
  • Lettings Lister/Negotiator
  • French or German Speaking Administrator
  • Legal Audio Typist
  • Office Staff/Personal Assistant
  • Graduate Recruitment Consultant
  • Lettings Agent
  • Sales Negotiator
  • Reception Team Member
  • Assembly Line Operative
Had a useful talk on Christians and Work at my last ever student focus at All Saints tonight though, was good to remember a few things...

Our identity and our security is found in Christ, not what we do or how much we earn.
You don't need a payslip for your work to have purpose

Jesus is coming back, so living in the light of eternity: don't live for what won't last and act as though evangelism is the most important 'work' that we have... on a relative scale of importance.
Work in a way which wins the respect of outsiders
           Earn money to give away.

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

  1. Mmmm...so good, and so fitting with the financial things that have been on my mind lately. :) Will be thinking about you and your job hunt--and praying He provides the perfect opportunity for you!
