I sometimes realise after spending a whole evening, or day with some of my best Christian friends, that we've managed to spend all that time together with virtually no mention of Jesus or the Gospel. I don't understand why we let it happen because I'm always SO encouraged by talking about Him with other people and it should surely be the most natural thing in the world...?
Last night I spent the evening with some lovely girlfriends and we chatted about a few different things and someone said they'd heard Helen Roseveare say something along the lines of this:
"We're always asking the wrong question. We shouldn't be asking 'is it worth it?' but rather, 'is HE worthy?', to which the answer will always be 'YES!'"
Thought it was worth remembering and sharing. :)
