Seeing Jesus in Job
It's possible that I've blogged this before as I remember first noticing it when I was in Belgium, but we were looking at Job in the Bible Overview at North West Partnership on Thursday night and I saw them again and just thought they were pretty cool. I can't find where I posted them before if I did so check them out and I hope you think it's cool too, to see how Jesus was clearly God's plan right through the Bible.
“He is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer him, that we might confront each other in court. If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together, someone to remove God’s rod from me, so that his terror would frighten me no more. Then I would speak up without fear of him, but as it now stands with me, I cannot."
Job 9:32-35
"I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!"
Job 19:25-27
