"it feels so good to be justified"

Maybe I'll just write this blog instead of sitting here procrastinating over a witty title...

So just a little update on life... someone bashed into my car on Sunday night after leaving it near a friends house. Don't know who... need to go and get the dent bashed OUT because its making the car make funny noises if you go round corners or over speed bumps too fast. :S

I got my teaching journal done and handed in on time on Monday which was a relief. I am one out of five assignments down... 1500 words out of the 12000 i have to write in the next few weeks...gone! :D I'm currently working on the second of those five which is the dreaded learner profile. Its due in tomorrow! :S... erk... this involves...picking a learner of english as a foreign language.. i've asked a friend whom i met through the globe cafe that CU runs... and then recording a lot of conversation with them... and getting them to do various things in english...then analysing... designing an hour of one to one lesson time to do with them....do it... and then evaluate and make a list of further recommendations for the learner to improve their english in the future. This is all good... i am quite far on in that..done most of the analysis and done the lesson yesterday... the problem lies in the fact that it's still 750 words short of being finished.... thats ow ong the recommendations has to be... but my word count is on 2600 and something out of 2500. hmm.

anyway... i will crack on with that shortly...

some other stuff has been going on... our shower leaks through the kitchen now... I'm going to manchester tomorrow night for a friends birthday at a comedy night, place, thing... should be interesting...an nouvelle expérience...

ah oui.... yes... speaking of..or in...french. i had a french translation exam last night... yes night... 5.30-8.40 it was... altho i thought it was 6-9 sooo arrived at 6 after doing my learner profile lesson. yes. but...cracked on...still got it done... in fact got it done about an hour early which perhaps should be worrying so i wrote it all out again neatly in a different coloured pen! crazy! but hopefully it will have gone ok... had to translate english in french a text about restaurants and cafes in paris not having enough french customers anymore because they eat like the english, and french into english, a text about the invention of the bic crystal pen! hmm....

I wanted to find a youtube video to share with you of shai linne's gospel music song which is like a overview of Romans... I really want to try and learn it off by heart but i probably won't. but anyway I can't share the video because youtube won't load it for me...hang on....google video may have come to the rescue...
