Wedding Number 2

I'd been meaning to do a blog about the second wedding of the summer that I went to for a while... wouldn't want Bridge to feel left out of my blog loving lol!

Here they are...
just leaving the church, behind Bridge's brother playing the bagpipes. It was loooovely. :)

Just one more wedding to go now... and I've just been trying to research it a bit this morning...i.e. where it is, how to get there etc. and have found ti may be slightly more difficult than I first anticipated. But the logistics of public transport will not deter me! I am very much looking forward to it.

Also, here's a picture of me and my friends on the beach for my birthday a few weeks back...

Currently, I'm spending my days doing various bits and bobs that need doing... writing to the tax office to try and get a tax refund, ringing up about things, translating my birth certificate into french for next year. I booked my speed awareness test...and then had to re-book it as they gave me the date of my other friends wedding later in the summer. :S umm... i've beenr eading too, I just finished The Host by Stephenie Meyer last night... the author of the twilight series. It was half price in whsmiths on the way back from Hannah's the other weekend after Bridge's wedding, so I bought it for the journey...had taken quite a while though as its assez long!

I don't like it as much as twilight, it was harder to get into, but its an interesting story... kind of sci-fi ish in that its these aliens called "souls" that kind of.. come and take over the world. But humans don;t really realise until its too late... they get put into the humans and then just take over living their lives.... it's hard to explain. But the story revolves around this one girl who won't give up her mind to the soul..who's actually quite nice..and they go off to find the girls boyfriend and brother who she was with before she got caught. I think Stephenie Meyer is a really amazing author actually cus she's really good at building up relationships that are really believable. It's the same in Twilight... you just totally believe when people are in love with each other or whatever because she describes their feelings so well. I liked it anyway... and I'd recommend it to read if you liked Twilight... but don't expect it to be better than it... or to have you hooked in the same way, because it won't.

ALSO... almost forgot... I went to see Harry Potter 6 on Wednesday with some friends. And I did enjoy it very much! I haven't read the book for a while...although a reread of the whole series is on my to-do list, but I'm pretty sure that there are some bits they've added in.... like the odd waitress at the beginning...?! And the attack on the Weasley's house....surely that doesn't happen till the wedding in book 7? Then again.... Bill and Fleur weren't in it.... so maybe the wedding won't be.... but then I saw pictures of them filming the seventh with Hermione in a posh dress a la wedding stylee.

hmmmmmmmmm...

sorry I'm just typing my thoughts there... we shall see anyway! Def. go and see it though if you're a fan! I heard that the orange wednesday tickets ran out anyway I'm guessing because of how many people went to see it! lol!

anyway... I will try and post again before I head off to camp. If there's anything interesting to say. I'm going to help on a Ventures week in Somerset with people from my church in Preston. The theme is Narnia though and I really need to hurry up and think and make a costume along those lines before I go.... :S.... I'm thinking a leafy tree/wood nymphy thing. (I've been wikipedia-ing it up!)

:D
