crazy love

I'm finally getting round to reading 'crazy love' by Francis Chan. There are videos online he tells you to watch as you're reading (a little bit annoying when reading on the train with no internet acess, but still...).

Anyway here's one of them: (and if you're not a Christian, please watch this! I think it's one of the best explanations of what Christians believe that I've ever heard)

I just think this guy is SO inspiring, in the foreword Chris Tomlin writes:

"It is with great excitement and honor that I get the opportunity to introduce you to my friend Francis Chan. Francis is one of those rare people you come across in life who leaves you wanting to be better. You know, a better friend, a better neighbour, a better athlete (well maybe not athlete... I can take Francis in most thingws involving competition). But most importantly, Francis leaves you wanting ore of Jesus. If you're around Francis for more than thirty minutes, you soon realize tht he is a man with great vision and resolve for the mission of Jesus. Some might say that Francis is a bit of an idealist in thinking that one life can really make a dent in the world. But I would say that Francis is the ultimate realise. Meaning, someone who believes that God really is who He says He is and that the true reality of this life is to follow Him wholeheartedly."

Hopefully more blogs to come on this.
