It was fab! The weather made it even better and I've even got a reasonable tan now.... swam in the sea twice! But I think it was the book that made it really. We read mirror mirror by Graham Beynon which talks about your identity in Christ. How we should be secur ein who we are in Him, and how we are loved and accepted by God, in Christ, even though we are intrinsically UNLOVABLE and UNACCEPTABLE. I hope that over the next year I'll learn that more, and it will really sink in because it's one thing to know it in your head, and another to know it in your heart I think. I know I'm terrible for comparing myself to others and trying to earn God's favour, even though I know that I can't!
So yeah... good times!
