Books I Should Read

So my plan for this summer was to read all of these Christian books that I am fortunate enough to have in my posession, to feel prepped and equipped and ready for Brussels. As yet.. I've read Shining Like Stars by Lindsay Brown (which is immense)... oh and The Host by Stephenie Meyer... whihc isn't Christian lol.

So here, for my own benefit... a list of the books I still have yet to read...

These ones are the ones I have started, and then got distracted from:

Experiencing The Spirit - Graham Beynon
Let the Nations Be Glad - John Piper
Robert Murray McCheyne - Andrew Bonar
Don't Waste Your Life - John Piper
Real Life Jesus - Mike Cain
God's Design for Women - Sharon James
Know and Tell the Gospel - John Chapman
Mormonism: A Gold Plated Religion - Mike & Ann Thomas
Knowing God - J.I. Packer
Pilgrim's Progress - John Bunyan

Books I haven't started yet, but want to:

One-to-One - Sophie De Witt
John Calvin: His Life and Influence - Robert L. Reymond
The Cross Centred Life - C.J. Mahaney
The Pursuit of Holiness - Jerry Bridges
Jesus Says Go - Robin Wells
After the Locusts - Meg Guillebaud
Lady Jane Grey - Faith Cook
The Knowledge of the Holy - A.W. Tozer
The Cross of Christ - John Stott
Kingdom Builders - Dominic Smart
Tortured for His Faith - Haralan Popov

Books I'd like to re-read:

Humility - C.J. Mahaney
No Compromise - Melody Green
The Screwtape Letters - C.S. Lewis
The Jesus I Never Knew - Phillip Yancey
Shining Like Stars - Lindsay Brown
Mirror, mirror - Graham Beynon

Books I don't have but want to read:

What's so amazing about Grace? - Phillip Yancey
A Call to Spiritual Reformation - D.A. Carson
Young, Restless, Reformed: A Journalists' Journey with the New Calvinists - Collin Hansen
Why We're Not Emergent (by two guys who should be) - Kevin DeYoung & Ted Kluck
The Case for Christ - Lee Strobel

Non-Christian Books I want to read or finish reading:

Brussels, Bruges, Ghent & Antwerp - Eyewitness Travel Guides
Chronicles of Narnia - C.S. Lewis
Woman in White - Wilkie Collins
Shadowmancer - G.P. Taylor
Playing the Moldovans at Tennis - Tony Hawks
The Works of John Milton - John Milton
Anderson's Fairytales - Hans Christian Anderson
Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoyevsky

So maybe you can see why I've not got through very many... it's kind of hard to know where to start. Instead of blogging about it though, maybe I should get on and do some reading lol!
