French Chansons Friday: Hosanna de Exo (et l'UJEB)

Another of my very favourite new french songs I have learnt this year. We don't sing this at my church but learnt it first at a GBU camp I think, then at 'Explosion', and then a month or two ago at l'UJEB. Not amazingly theological, but definitely makes you wanna praise God! :)

I meant to write a blog about UJEB and I've had a draft titled since a couple of days afterwards, just never got round to it. Like about 20 other drafts I've not started. To surmise.. UJEB stands for U...? Unié maybe... Jeunes Evangeliques de Bruxelles. So united young evangelicals of Brussels. I quite enjoyed the evening I spent there, I went with some GBU students. People were friendly... so friendly in fact, if you're new you have to raise your hand and then they do some fancy music thing and everyone (about 60-80 people) claps and woops for you. Nice... but also slightly intimidating. Still... it was nice. And it was not long before Easter actually when I went and the guy who spoke gave a reallllllly brilliant Gospel message, basically just THE CROSS. It was great. I was hoping the video would soon be on the website so I could post and translate it but it looks liek they'r enot going to put it up. :( I super enjoyed the singing tho too.. there were even some in english ... which always makes me happy. You really appreciate it when you don't get to do it very often!
