French Chansons Friday: Grandes et Merveilleuses

I love this one: it gets sung everywhere. One of my FIRST favourite French chansons. Perfect for any occasion. Speaks good truths. Different groups seem to have different timings for clapping though which sometimes catch me off guard. I also wasn't sure whether "Lai, lai, lai, lai, lai" should be translated to "la la la la la", but i prefer "lai". :)

Here's a video, obviously not as good as a proper recording, but thought the sound wasn't bad considering. At you get the lovely sense of *spontaneous* clapping. :)
