Going Places...

Wowie somebody gave me a blog award! :) I feel sooooo loved. Thank you Jen!!

It's funny how even online and through blogs, you can feel kind of like you might have a found a fellow-soul type person, and lovely Jen is one of these people... you should check out her blog, she writes SO beautifully. :)

The rules to this award are: Share where you see yourself in ten years and then award this to ten other bloggers.

So I really have no idea, but "He that hath the steerage of my course, direct my sail!" (that's from Romeo and Juliet right there!)  There are SO many things that I would love to do, and so many things that will depend on so many other things, like hopefully...getting married and having kids *at some point*. There's a little list I keep though, so whenever I have ideas of stuff I might like to do one day... I can note it down. Here's a snippet:

Go to Africa, teach English in Asia, train for mission at the New Tribes Mission centre in Lincolnshire (or America!)...go to America :), do an MA in Field Linguistics, come back to Belgium, Relay with UCCF, serve on an OM ship, write a book, work on a film set, property develop
That's not to say I'll definitely do all of them, or maybe I will, but not all in the next ten years (that would be a bit 'chaud'.. but yeah.. some ideas anyway. I'm just really quite excited, as well as scared, about the future and the MYRIAD possibilities. :)

It's hard not knowing... but we're all in the same boat I guess. And it's such a comfort to know God is sovereign over all these things and has our best interests at heart. In our final one to one in Philippians this week, me and my friend Agatha read: "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:4-7. I'm currently waiting to hear back about an interview I had for what would be a perfect but petrifying job teaching English at a summer school in Exeter during July and August, it's great to be able to have that peace about it, knowing even if I don't get it... that's ok.

So now I'm supposed to pass this on to another TEN bloggers, but to be honest.. I don't think I know ten bloggers to pass it on to, and I thought I was quite big into this whole blogging malarkey! But I will put you down my lovely lady friends who I know are going places, who are waiting for Him that hath the steerage of your courses, to direct your sails.
