Belgium, it seems, has an abundance of bank holidays in May. Last Monday was one of them, and so me, Lucy, Emily and their three boys went off to the wonderful PARC PARADISIO, which is about an hour away from Brussels, (although in which direction I have no idea!)

It was a beautifully hot day, I finally got some proper tan going :) and the animals were SO close! Birds of prey and bats swooping over our heads, elephants you could pat. I was super impressed!
In other news, I only have THREE WEEKS left in Belgium, and SO much stuff I still want to do! And I hope you like the new blog bits I've been fiddling with :)
