So I was just listenin to a quick "Ask Pastor John" (Piper) on this and I had a bit of a, what you might call, an epiphany. :P Maybe it's just because my brother's wedding was on my mind a lot last week but still...
(And I'm going to be cringeworthily honest here... so I'm sorry if that offends you at all!!)
I just realised that God would not have me being single right now, if being in a relationship would actually be the best thing for me at the moment. I know it's obvious and we've heard it all a million times before, but he wants me to USE his gift of singleness for Him... there are things he wants me to do right now, being single, that he knows I won't be able to do in the future if and when I'm ever in a relationship.
So that was pretty cool.
And speaking of my brother's wedding, here are just a couple of my snaps... it was a beauuuutiful day and I cried quiiite a lot!!! :S
