more from my favourite lyrical theologian...

I realise I should have said I was doing a blog a day for advent or something, so I could have a legitimate reason for posting so much. What can I say… I'm feeling inspired. And I just keep finding and thinking of or hearing about things to blog!

I've chatted about Shai Linne before, I do actually love him. Discovered these two songs on youtube the other day. They deserve their own blogs, but… I don't want to get to 200 posts too quickly when I only just passed the 100 mark lol. They're immense though, it's worth googling for the lyrics to read while you listen.

Gospel Music as been one of my faves for ages though, from an album by the 116 clique called 13 letters, with songs that summarise, I presume, the letters of the new testament. I've only heard this one (Romans) and Sound (Titus) by Trip Lee.

In my spare moments, at bus stops and travelling around, I'm trying to learn it off by heart lol. It's a really good helpful summary of the book and the themes and stuff in it. Love Shai Linne. Check out his blog http://lyricaltheology.blogspot.com/

  1. It is very amusing how we could be friends, go our different ways in life and then somehow end up loving the same stuff. Shai Linne is awesome. Actually, we're planning some work with him next time he is over in UK him and re:formation. Really good.

Next you'll be telling me you love John Piper, Paul Washer and all things Charismatic Calvinism :p
